By accessing or using the LEGACIA service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use LEGACIA. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
LEGACIA is a biography creation service that conducts AI-guided biographical interviews with a subject of your choice and transforms their recorded answers into a professionally formatted biography book.
The service is offered as a one-time purchase, depending on the selected package.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and setting up a biography project. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to use LEGACIA for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
— Providing false information about the biography subject
— Using the service to generate content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or in violation of any applicable law
— Attempting to circumvent security measures or access another user's account
— Reselling or redistributing access to the service without authorization
The End User owns all rights to the biography content generated through the LEGACIA service, including the final biography document, interview transcripts, and any derivative works.
By using LEGACIA, you grant Legacia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service. This license does not extend to commercial use, resale, or publication of your content.
If you purchase LEGACIA on behalf of another person (the "End User"), you agree to:
— Inform the End User that LEGACIA will conduct biographical interviews with them
— Ensure the End User has agreed to these Terms of Service
— Obtain the End User's explicit consent for the collection and processing of their personal data as described in our Privacy Policy
As the payer, you accept responsibility for ensuring the End User's informed participation.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable charge to your payment method.
All sales are final. Refunds are not provided unless required by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under your local consumer protection laws, please contact us at the address provided below.
LEGACIA is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any biography generated through the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacia excludes liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Legacia reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the service following notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
LEGACIA is operated by Julien Rio, registered as an auto-entrepreneur in France.
